Velux windows & sliding doors

The clients asked Place Architecture + Design to re-model the ground floor of their family home to create a large kitchen, new playroom in the old garage, and dining/family areas. The main challenge was to bring in lots of natural light into the once dark interior. We did this by altering the rear single storey roof and introducing new velux roof windows as well as the large sliding doors.
